Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is at it again:
And yet, Florida legislators refuse to tell their constituents whether they will support The Donald. Consider the following in Miami-Dade:
- Sen. Anitere Flores: “We’ll see” when asked whether she will vote for Trump.
- Sen. Miguel Diaz de la Portilla has not made up his mind on who he’ll vote for.
- Rep. Frank Artiles remains silent, but made his stance perfectly clear with a YES vote on a Trump-inspired anti-immigration bill, HB 675, this past session.
“Florida legislators ought to denounce Donald Trump’s dangerous and divisive rhetoric once and for all,” FloridaStrong Executive Director Charly Norton said Friday. “Their continued silence is a slap in the face to hardworking Hispanic families who are confronted with racial insults from Trump every day. We deserve better.”
